-The Library of Congress cited Art Blakey’s A Night at Birdland as essential American recordings, and it has been permanently archived in the National Registry...along with an essay that I am honored to have written. It features interviews with former Blakey saxophonists Wayne Shorter and Lou Donaldson, and even if you’re not a jazz fan, I think you’ll dig it. You can check it out right here.

-Benson: The Autobiography, my collaboration with guitarist/vocalist George Benson, is now available at a book retailer near you. With an intro by Bill Cosby, I count it as one of the coolest projects of my ghostwriting life. The fine folks at Publishers Weekly picked up on that vibe, and gave it a wonderful review, which you can check out here.

-Regular visitors will note that I’ve added the title of BOOK PACKAGER to my arsenal.
